The Peggy Lynn
Giclee print from an original watercolor painting
The inspiration for this painting comes from the coastal community of Morro Bay, California. If you look closely at the scenery behind the fishing boat, you'll see some familiar landmarks. Although it has become quite the tourist destination, Morro Bay was, and still is a community centered around the fishing industry. This particular boat didn't have a name, so I named it after my wife Peggy.
"The Peggy Lynn" is reproduced from an original watercolor painting by David J Rogers. Using today’s latest Giclee printing technology, each print is individually created with archival inks on watercolor paper to look and feel just like the original, and has a projected lifespan of 80 years if protected against direct sunlight. The artwork is individually printed on order, and is inspected and hand signed by the artist.
