Living in the California harbor town of Morro Bay gives me many opportunities to paint lots of different seascapes and harbor scenes, and sailboats are one of my favorite subjects!
I think the reason I like painting sailboats so much is because they symbolize so many different things like freedom and adventure and direction. However, sailboats also can also carry a very powerful spiritual message with a direct connection to one's personal faith journey.
