Giclee print from an original watercolor painting

About this item
Point Pinos Lighthouse is located in Pacific Grove California. Just south of Monterey, it’s the oldest lighthouse on the Pacific coast. Since it's the oldest lighthouse, I thought I'd try to portray it as it might have looked when it was first commissioned in 1855, when the lighthouse was supplied by sea and it was a trek through the wilderness to reach it by land.

Point Pinos Lighthouse is reproduced from an original watercolor painting by David J Rogers. Using today’s latest Giclee printing technology, each print is individually created with archival inks on watercolor paper to look and feel just like the original, and has a projected lifespan of 80 years if protected against direct sunlight. The artwork is individually printed on order, and is inspected and hand signed by the artist.
