        Watercolor is a type of painting created by mixing colored pigments or pan paints with water in a tray palette. Using a paintbrush, the translucent paint mixture is then applied directly onto a textured, cold-pressed piece of paper. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned artist, watercolor painting is a great skill to learn!

        Simple and easy! Watercolor painting is an amazing skill that can be learned relatively quickly. You can even learn the basic fundamentals and techniques of watercolor and start painting within a few weeks!

        David J. Rogers uses the terminology: "tea", "one -percent", "two-percent", and "cream" to refer to the consistency of your paint mixture. This simple analogy David uses refers to a 1% milk consistency, 2% milk consistency, tea consistency, and cream consistency when determining the thickness of your paint.

        David J.
